Recent advances in water treatment
Water treatment trainings and research projects
Do you want to stay updated on water treatment processes? How can we recycle water efficiently? What are the newest technologies and how do they function in your process? Order a training or participate in our Water Seminar (Vesiseminaari). We also serve you with long-term research projects. Together we can develop future solutions.
Trainings and seminars
What would you like to learn about water treatment? Why do you follow pH, why oxygen is important and what does an environmental norm mean? How do water treatment chemicals function? We tailor the training according to your process to deal with the acute question you face. The same training can take place for multiple times to cover the whole personnel of yours. We arrange an annual Water seminar assessing important and actual themes. You are welcome to participate and to also suggest themes for future seminars.
Development projects
Which problem you would like to solve? What kind of equipment would you need? We constantly run research and development projects to design new analytical assays and test newest water treatment equipment. Currently we focus to microbiological and chemical quality of household water. We also build new equipment to treat reject water from reverse osmosis and to enhance chemical recovery. Equipment will serve our client projects after tests have been completed to ensure the functionality of the equipment.

Long-term research projects
Do you struggle with an unsolved problem related to water, microbiology or water treatment? Or would you like someone to study a specific theme more thoroughly? Our multiannual client projects developed novel analytical capabilities and water treatment processes by proceeding from laboratory scale via piloting to process scale. We have acted as pioneers to introduce process industry with culture-independent measurement of microbial communities. Currently, these molecular techniques are relatively widely used to follow and control processes.
